Dorset Bluebells with Fruit, is a lovely, simple little picture that was painted in an impressionistic style.
Showing a Chinese pot with lovely bluebells, picked from my own Dorset garden with grapes and an orange.
I painted this very quickly, I think these sort of paintings work very well.
I do love to paint in this style and think they can make fantastic paintings, especially when in a frame.
The support used was a canvas cut from a roll and then glued to board to give a nice rigid support.
This beautiful impressionistic painting measures 9 3/8 x 7 5/8 in inches or 237 x 192 mm.
As always, Dorset bluebells with Fruit was painted with my favourite hand made oil paints.
